Savage is a city in Scott County south of Minneapolis and the Minnesota River. In 2015, it had a population of over 2015 and is over 15 square miles in area.

The city art council hosts many events during the year and Savage has a local branch of theScott County library. In the summer, the Farmers' Market near the Savage Depot is a popular event.

Savage is easily accessible via US Highway 169, MN State Highway 13 and Scott County Road 42. Savage also has transportation for commuting and to some areas of Minneapolis via the MVTA.

Savage is serviced by three different school districts: Shakopee ISD, Prior Lake ISD and Burnsville-Eagan-Savage ISD.
